Read ‘The Errand’ by Elizabeth J. Coleman.

I was honored Poems2go chose to feature my sonnet, “The Errand,” about buying a bike for my young grandson, which had originally appeared in Rattle, https://www.rattle.com/the-errand-by-elizabeth-j-coleman/, in February 2019.

Poems2go publishes poems that reflect poets’ deep listening to the world around them, work that can respond with humor or serious meditation, that shows respect, and that allows the reader to gain greater perspective, broadening their understanding and sense of their place in this collective whole.

Poems2go is proud to have Lesley University as its fiscal sponsor, and grateful to The Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry, The Billerica Arts Council, and The Massachusetts Cultural Council for their generous funds supporting this public poetry project. P2g ambassadors helping to distribute Poems2go across the country.
