Praise for THE SAINT OF LOST THINGS:

"These eighteen superbly crafted and beautifully moving poems are both a journey around the world and a journey through the poets profoundly inner self. From Paris to New York from the mountains of “Fir Mountain" to the farm country of "Middlefield" to the seas of the title palm and "San Ignacio,” Elizabeth Coleman embraces a deeply felt world, human nature and her own family with a flair for the unforgettable image, elegant music and perfect insights. This exquisite collection will inform and inspire all who enter its luminescent pages."

—Lee Slonimsky, author of MONEY AND LIGHT, PYTHAGORAS IN LOVE, and TALK BETWEEN LEAF AND SKIN.

"It is the delicate precision of these brush-stroked poems [she's a lawyer]; [she paints]; the joy and play in traditional forms; the wistful, at ease with the sophisticated; the music [she's a guitarist]; the wit:

Où sont les cigarettes d’antan? she cried.

We’ll always have The tribune, he replied.

It is, finally, the tender delight of Elizabeth Coleman’s THE SAINT OF LOST THINGS that lingers and lingers…”

—Estha Weiner, author of TRANSFIGUATION BEGINS AT HOME, THE MISTRESS MANUSCRIPT, Co-editor, Contributor, BLUES FOR BILL: A TRIBUTE TO WILLIAMS MATHEWS
